After local exclusive travel company Scott Dunn sold their business, the new owners decided to relocate their Chichester operations to their offices in London. With the lease due to expire later in 2021, the owners of teh building decided to engage Medhursts to either re-let or sell the 4,380 square foot office building at Madgwick Lane on the outskirts of Chichester. As soon as the marketing campaign was started there was very early interest in the freehold. Two businesses particularly wanted to buy the building for their own occupation. The winner was a domicilliary care provider called Home Instead who will relocate from their Quarry Lane base. The price paid was in excess of the asking price and confirms the strong level of pent up demand for freehold commercial premises in the area, despite the pandemic.

The Information Shop was a charity that had to relocate from the front section of the Chichester Boys Club in Little London Chichester. We have now re-let the premsies to another charity The Apuldram Centre to provide them with a town centre base. 

The ground and first flooor space fronts onto Little London and provides offices and meeting areas.

After 2 years of trying on their own to relocate their sucessful garage business, Eames Motor Repairs Ltd came to us to help them find suitable new premises. As tenants of Chichester District Council at the St James Industrial Estate in Chichester, they were given their marching orders as the Council want to redevelop the whole Estate. The challenge was to find the right combination of location- to keep existing customers, visibility- to attract new ones, landlords- that would accept motor trade uses and buildings with sufficient car parking. Nevertheless after several failed attempts we managed to persuade the reluctant District Council to agree terms for Eames MRL to take Unit 1 at CDC's new Ravenna Point in Terminus Road, Chichester. Within 6 months the unit will be fitted out with a new MOT Testing station, customer reception, office, staff room, mezzanine storage and 6 work bays.

Despite the ravages of the pandemic the Chilgrove Business Centre has attracted several new tenants. The latest being The Retail Factory Ltd who have opened a new regional sales office. Also Managing Partners Ltd who have relocated from Drayton House, Oving.
