After letting Unit 6 in May, Unit 5 at the Wyndham Business Park has now been let to Hamilton Trading Ltd. The new venture will be using the base for importing and trading household goods.

Chilgrove Business Centre has welcomed another new tenant. Attracted by the new high speed broadband service, IT company Wand IT Ltd has taken suite 13. The BT leased line now provides upload and download speeds of approximately 25 MBps as reported by the tenants. This improvement now makes the rural business centre's broadband capabilities faster than many town centre locations.

Thomas Eggar House

After spending more than 3 years looking for more suitable premises, Thomas Eggar solicitors have completed a new lease on the North Wing of East Pallant House in Chichester. The offices form part of Chichester District Councils head quarters. The 8,800 sqft building will be rebadged as Thomas Eggar House as they relocate the 50 yards across the road from The Corn Exchange building in Baffins Lane.

Medhursts represented Thomas Eggar in the search and negotiations, using their local knowledge to secure the off-market transaction. Alex Medhurst said "We had been looking for the right building for a long time. It was a question of size, location, quality and accessibility to Thomas Eggar's clients. I became aware that Chichester District Council would be releasing surplus space at some time and the two requirements fell into place very neatly."

The lease is for 10 years. The move is expected to be completed during August to coincide with the lease expiring on The Corn Exchange building in September. The Estates Department advised the District Council.

Apsley Shooting Ltd have taken a new 5 year lease on Unit 6 Wyndham Park in Midhurst. The business unit will be shared with Beeswax & Lavender Residential and Commercial Cleaning Ltd.
