They have paid £1.385m for the 36,000 sqft former Pickfords furnituire depository. It is an unusual high bay building with 2 freestanding mezzanine floors accessed from a rear ramp. and is ideally suited to a self storage operation with goo dvisability to the busy A27.


Acting for the landlords we have let a former Winerack double unit in the Old Mill Square precinct in Storrington, to Costa Coffee. Situated next to the Waitrose, Costa could see the potential and have taken a new 10 year lease. Waitrose were going to extend westwards into the units but have now decided they can go northwards which released Units 9&10 for Costa. Two other units remain available.

The former home of a local building firm has been re-let to Between The Lines Ltd. The high street retailer will relocate its offices and distribution functions from its current base in Bosham. The much larger premises will help to facilitate their ongoing expansion.

Acting for London based landlords, Medhursts have successfully agreed the rent review on the Tesco's Express convenience store at 194-196 Pagham Road, Nyetimber. Negotiating against surveyors GL Hearn,  who acted for Tesco's, the rent was finally agreed at £25,000 per annum.
